Reducing my baggage

More stuff to Gowan's, the local auctioneer. At least they accept (nearly) everything, but of course take 20 per cent for their miserly effort. But it's such a lightening of my load to have fewer possessions to dispose of - but still lots to go. The lessons from 'The Joy of Less' are gradually sinking in, what a sensible book to read at this point in my life. My moves are becoming minimalist!
Still learning how to blog regularly,and will make this my travel diary once I am in the air on Tuesday.

Beginning...

I am about to take a trip...to Rome no less. I just heard they had a madman murder a policeman in front of Parliament, probably no madder than those making the laws inside those ancient walls.
I am literally prepared for anything in this trip.
