The Death of Louis XIV

Tonight we are back to the NZFF to see a very French Arthouse movie with the former François Truffaut star Jean-Pierre Léaud playing the dying 'Sun King' Louis XIV. I am really looking forward to it but wonder how indulgent will the French be to this glorified womanising egotist who died of syphilis aged 72.
Today coffee with Gloria and Anita and I have told them booth of my planned departure in October. They are sad but understand. I need to make it clear to everyone and so make it clear to myself that I am  actually leaving this wonderful town, and is it extremely difficult to realise.
