Q and A at Laramie

Today I am in Sydney for Eckankar and home afterwards for a 'q and a' after the final show of 'Laramie'.
The ECK service was as always excellent, and I reconnected with  a few good friends I needed to see. More Eck in Sydney next weekend with another sleepover at brother's scheduled. My Iranian friend H. was in good form and she gave me the good news she is now working in a bakery which suits her just fine as she is a born cook and will learn a lot there as well. She seemed very happy with many plans for the future. We will always be good friends and I am fascinated to see where she will eventually end up.

On way home the train stopped for a change at Hawkesbuy River, something weird happened, probably because of the extreme heat conditions. The changeover went efficiently which was good. So I arrived home in time to be at Woy Woy Little Theatre to participate in the q and a which was quite interesting and enabled me to say goodbye to the director Jessica who is off to Cambodia for an extended working scholarship. She told me she may not even come back if things go well for her. She is bright and very adventurous with a great future. Who knows what she will do?
The only disappointing feature of the final outcome of Laramie was that no school kids came along, except one, who said he invited his classmates but not one of them turned up. Typical of the apathy, or is it fear, on the Central Coast. But many people certainly profited from the rich experience of seeing   homophobia exhibited on the stage to the ugliest of degrees.  This is the state affairs which still exists today, and on the Central Coast I'm afraid. We must stay eternally vigilant.

Finally we are recognising the value of Aboriginal Art heritage which is invaluable but at home in Australia we have been totally ignorant of it to our detriment and the disaster of the rich ancient Aboriginal culture which needs to be respected and recorded.
Arab GLBTIs are always in a bad place. The discrimination in these countries is deep and endemic.
Poor whales in NZ being stranded with the caring Kiwis helping out but they can do little for these majestic huge beasts who have been tragically beached.

Here is the Diva Bassey being showcased in all her glory by a drag queen naturally. That is exactly what Shirley was, a Drag Diva herself with an enormous gay fan base.. This would be a great show to see.

Here Is possibly the next President of France. He has the charisma, the looks and happens to be there when his opponents are in turmoil. He is centrist-right, but that's what France wants I think. They are over the Left leaning Parties with all the immigration crises in Europe at present. It won't be a Trump-like government, it is Marine LePen who would have created that, and France is not quite ready for  Marine in power I believe.
Jonathan Sack's lover writes a biography which would be a good read I am sure. Sacks was a fascinating if tortured genius, as most Jewish gay intellects seem to be.
Another Islander footy champion records his fight with demons and his eventual return. Where would football in general be without the input of the Islanders? They, including the Maori and Aboriginals, are among the best players in the world it has been shown in the history of the game.
