Autumnal Tuesday

The weather in Wellington, traditionally one of its most challenging aspects, has ironically become one of its most attractive. The much discussed climate change has given enormous grief to the suffering Aussies with its never-ending hot summer, whereas in New Zealand the formerly non-existent summer has become a wonderful time for sunbathing and swimming. Already one month into autumn and a couple of hardy Maori men were swimming yesterday in Oriental Bay. A sight never seen before I am sure.

Neighbour's vibrant blue climber, called 'Clitoria ternatea' is on house just above us....
...and going crazy next door!
The legend of Helen Clark lives on and all NZ wants her to head the United Nations.
Proof of the hot weather in the newspapers, at least there is actual evidence for this article!
Big public service blunders by lawmakers with very expensive consequences. Everything is visible in this little country, whereas with the big ones they can hide many mistakes successfully.
What I know well but must practise more diligently....
...more good eating hints.
Lydia Ko getting even bigger and everyone loves her to bits!

Kids half-price on the Interislander ferry to Picton..
Clouds in a very blue sky in Autumn in a very calm and peaceful Wellington.
