Today I see an enormous photo of Jack Body all over the Dom Post and think how much he is still around, especially in the life of Yono. This relationship was never meant to be a goer for me, as the charisma and strength of Jack will echo for a very long time in the corridors of this small city, and Yono is in his wake.
The Pike River disaster revisited
where people are still mourning their lost ones buried under the ground.

And who is fighting them, France and President Hollande.
The world is still reeling in shock in the aftermath of these Paris bombings and it seems that it is encouraging even more warfare against the Syrians in general and the Isis in particular. Those refugees from Syria will now have even a harder time relocating than before with their names linked to these latest horrific attacks on humanity. New Zealand in particular, is lucky to be well away from the action, whereas Sydney and Melbourne could well be future targets. Life is risky these days if you live in a big city.

Last night the meeting with Heather and her friend Helen, both working in Wellington Hospital, and both from UK, was a remindsr of exactly how limited I am in my choice of housemates. Luckily with the acceptance of Niki, I can now work on the combination of French and Kiwi to find a suitable person for the little room. Possibly a male workaway who wants a cheap room, like Josh who has said he is interested but hasn't got back to me. I texted him to tell him to come to Memphis but if he doesn't than that's OK he will have found somewhere else. In the meantime the plumbers are hard at work replacing the kitchen so I have left to escape the noise and mess. Perhaps it is best I wait till my return from Oz before I get someone else in and just allow Niki to settle in with Alice.
Aspiring Miss World
already Miss NZ, and with MD after her name. Just another Kiwi girl making her mark around the globe.

This fabulous
NZ School of Dance has a graduation program every year. Today I saw their first night and they were absolutely magnificent, world class, and it was a great two and a half hours of pure creative dance, both classical and modern with several World Premières thrown in. I felt very privileged and had a seat in the front row for $25. I may even go a second time towards the end of the season. New Zealand is tops in dance that's for sure.
