However the xenophobic locals are terrified of a 'yellow invasion' with the result that nothing is happening. There is however the unpopular planned building of a central tax office on the prime waterside venue where for years an Arts Centre has been the great desire of all the arty population of the area. But no-go, the government doesn't heed local requests when it comes to building a cultural centre. Money rules as always, culture does not matter .

Lunch in town
Today was the first day of my new life and it was shopping and meeting good friends for lunch in Gosford centre. The cty, which it is officially called, has been in the doldrums for the last twenty years with no progress of any sort except for individual developers who have become milionaires. There are constant ongoing disputes where the council cannot agree about change, as the investors, mainly Chinese consortiums, are keen to provide high-rise expensive accommodation in the centre where business is stagnating.
