I am well acquainted with the rule of thumb of modern medicine that one doesn't assist death, rather one gives stonger palliative care resulting in death. It happened to many whom I knew including my dear mother at the end of her life. She was 97 and ready for the pearly gates and just needed a little push to get through them or it would have dwindled on and on to the distress of everyone looking on but especially to herself, who was conscious and rearing to go. Happily she went and all ended well. This is how it is happening now so let's be honest about it and make a law to help doctors not hinder them and their difficult work.

The police don't like Nicky obviously as they turned his house upside down when he wasn't there. And it was illegal. The Kiwi police sometimes are too bloodly serious in doing what they think is correct and they countenance no criticism. Let's hope Nicky wins this case against him and their illegal entry and seizure of his own personal documents. The papers they wanted had already been returned to their owners. A bit rich, but costly to Nicky, who is doing such a good job at helping to keep the bastards honest.

when you are too bold, like this removalist. Luckily this morning my Conroys Movers' boxes were picked up by Graeme and the move put on indefinite hold.. It was another symbol of my decision to stay in this town and really give it a proper go. After all, I do love it, it just sometimes doesn't love me, lol!
