Tuesday terrific

Well at least its not raining....the weather is still wintry but without the rain it is much better. The Memphis is buzzing as always, and I manage to be there early after an interesting night with Moumou swapping  beds every few hours. She seems to be aware she has two people to satisfy, or is it that she has two beds to be warm and comfy in, and likes to use both? Whatever, I had my share of her warm white body last night and I'm sure Alice did too, so all is well in our new extended household.
Moumou always knows the best way out.

Today is Tuesday and it's time to regroup as it is essentially my quiet day. I may catch the Everest movie tonight at the Cuba Lighthouse. It is also time to buy an electric blanket for the front room. Having read the latest edition of that excellent cyber-mag Tatou, which says that leaving your bed unmade is the best way for body-bed hygiene and health (the dust mites disappear during the day as they are not kept warm), I am now leaning towards doing this difficult task myself, that is, not making my bed in the morning, something to which I am addicted, unfortunately, it now appears, to the detriment of personal hygiene!! Who would have known?
Hooded Paris on the phone..

Jeremy Corbyn - new UK Labor leaderthis man could be the face of the New Politics...

Uber taxis under fire...

This woman sounds great.....would love to hear her at Cuba Street San Fran bar on October 1. She hails from Christchurch, is in a happy relationship with a woman and has three children...the whole package, and is not travelling OS, although she is an immense talent it is sure!

Andrew Lakinganother Kiwi success story, returns..
The man was in Ireland for ten years honing his skills in folk and other music and is now back, a welcome return of Kiwi talent who escaped for his career to take off in great fashion, but now is back to educate his kids in the Wellington way.

McCaw blots his copy book in the first game!

Great movieabout Kiwi mountain climber Rob Hall, quite amazing, certainly worth seeing.

Big smilefrom me today, on receiving a surprise box of hankies and a wonderful Paris scarf from Therese in Melbourne - they are both fabulous!
